Years ago a reputable makeup artist told me that lining the lower inner rim of your eyes (known as the “waterline”) makes eyes look smaller.
My eyes are small and so naturally for decades, I never applied liner on the lower part of my eyes … that was until my late thirties when I started to notice that my eyes were disappearing altogether in photographs. Ugh! After trying numerous pencil eyeliners and reading multiple reviews, I found Urban Decay’s Glide-On Eye Pencil and once again, my eyes look beautifully defined as long as I rim my lower lids.
Urban Decay is an American cosmetics company co-founded in 1996 by Sandy Lerner and Particia Holmes with the motto, “Beauty with an Edge”. Their glide-on eye pencil is creamy, forever lasting, award-winning and waterproof. It’s the perfect amount of soft (too soft always smudges), it never skips on your skin and there’s no tugging required on your very delicate eye area. If you prefer a very thin line or if your preference is thick liner, you’ll love this eye pencil for either your upper eyelids or your waterline. Not only that, it blends beautifully!
My current favorite color is “Perversion”. It’s the blackest black matte, however, I also still use “Zero” which used to be my fave. You may like the beautiful tropical hues, sparkly metallics or the vibrant neutrals. Regardless of which color you choose I’m certain you’ll echo some of the reviews, “best liner ever”, “100% worth it”, and “my all time fave”.
Here’s how to get one, or two or three…..
