I’ve always thought that I would have an NYC chapter in my life … After all, I’ve never met a big city I don’t love!
The energy in New York City is invigorating to me and I feel like a kid at Disneyland whenever I’m there. So it was only natural when I was initially introduced to Bond No. 9 fragrances at a Saks 5th Avenue that I felt like I had vicariously traveled to NYC.
The company launched in 2003 and focused on creating perfumes inspired by specific neighborhoods of New York, thus creating an homage to the great city. Each fragrance represents a specific downtown, midtown or
uptown locale or a “city-wide sensibility”, as the Bond No.9 folks refer to it.
Every single bottle is sublimely gorgeous and would add beauty to anyone’s dressing area.
With my personal sanctuary being predominantly pink, my favorites are “Downtown’s” Madison Square Park and “Uptown’s” Central Park South. Central Park South has been described as “the world’s most super-elegant city street with the world’s most sumptuous greenery at its doorstep” …. and that is certainly the inspiration for this fragrance. Try it, it’s fabulous!!!
