I’ve mentioned before that there was a chapter in my life when I worked at a cosmetic counter in a department store.
I always admired the Chanel counter because it seemed to me that’s where all of the very chic and posh ladies went. Naturally, would Coco Chanel expect any less? Being a college student, I certainly didn’t rock Chanel suits and layers of pearls then!
What I did rock, and still attempt to, is a cool smokey eye which is best achieved courtesy of Chanel. My favorite palette is the “Vanites” foursome which includes matte shades, a subtle shimmer shade and a satin. They may be applied dry or lightly moistened to get a deeper, more saturated shade … whichever you prefer, you’ll be pleased with the results!
Even if a classic Chanel suit, a quilted Chanel handbag, or piles and piles of pearls don’t appeal to you, surely a beautiful eyeshadow palette does?
