By the mid nineties to early 2000’s, you could not read a beauty glossy without seeing something about Nars Cosmetics and their very popular blush called, “Orgasm”.
It’s a favorite among professional make-up artists and it’s no wonder! Nars was created and founded by a sought after make-up artist himself, Francois Nars, in 1994 after his dissatisfaction with the current options for color products. He began by selling only 12 lipsticks at Barneys in New York City and growing the line from there. Nars products are a favorite of Victoria Beckham and Madonna, among other celebrities.
The previously mentioned Orgasm Blush made Sephora’s “Best Blush” award three years in a row for 2006, 2007 and 2008.
